07-18 - Schoof, Beiteddine Palace, Moussa Castle : This was a fun trip day. The Schoof (translates to See) is one of the most picturesque areas of the country that I had seen. The elevation at the top of the mountain areas provided an awesome view. We also visited the famous Beiteddine Palace http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beiteddine_Palace as well as Moussa Castle http://www.moussacastle.com. The stories behind each of these places simply won't fit here, but as you can see from the pictures, all of them are inspiring.

07-22 - Harissa and Jbeil : We visited Harissa and Jbeil near Beirut. Harissa is a sanctuary for the Virgin Mary http://www.harissa.info/lady-of-lebanon.htm and Jbeil is considered to be the oldest inhabited city in the world (also known as Byblos). http://www.liban-voyage.com/lebanon/jbeil.html In addition to these two sites, some random landscape pictures around Beirut including some famous fast food chains, and the tram (known is the Telefrique) which takes you up to Harissa from the edge of the sea.

07-16 - Family Bus Trip to the North : Family Bus Trip to various different parts of the north including Knesse (church) Beechwat, the Arriz (Cedars of Lebanon) and Bneshee Lake, Saidat Al Nouriyee among a few other places. We had a total of 45 or so people on the bus and sang and danced our way through the whole trip!
